Wine Description

The wine presents a dark, luminous garnet red colour with deep crimson reflections along the rim. An expressive, multidimensional bouquet opens with noble aromas of black cherry preserves, wild blackberry, and dark plum compote, interwoven with sophisticated notes of forest floor, game, leather, pipe tobacco, crushed limestone minerality, and warm cedar spice. On the palate, it is full bodied, commanding, and seamless, delivering concentrated flavours of dark fruits, licorice, and savory mineral earth, all supported by a bright, mouthwatering spine of natural acidity. Framed by firm, fine-grained, muscular tannins and an exceptionally opulent mid-palate structure, it concludes with a long, persistent finish marked by lingering dark fruits, iron notes, and a clean gravelly grip. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, this 2023 release offers extraordinary cellaring potential spanning 2028–2048+.
