The Cuvée des Alouettes presents a striking, deep ruby red colour in the glass. On the nose, it unfolds a highly expressive and layered bouquet rich in dark berries, plums, and baking chocolate, intermingled with subtler notes of orange zest, warm spices, and wet stone. The palate is dense, powerful, and beautifully concentrated, balancing an impressive weight of black fruit with a lively, saline core. It exhibits a seamless synergy of richness and freshness, structured by fine but noticeably firmer tannins and a refreshing acidity that carries into an ultra-pure, long-lasting finish. Crafted from 100% Pinot Noir, the wine is entirely destemmed and fermented in traditional wooden vats before maturing for 18 to 20 months in seasoned French oak casks. True to the estate's strict hands-off philosophy, the wine is never fined or filtered, and absolutely no new oak barrels are used, letting the raw terroir shine through gracefully. This bottle offers a generous drinking window, structurally built to evolve beautifully for 20 years or more.
