Product description
Originating from France in the renowned Burgundy region, specifically from the newly recognized Bourgogne Cote d'Or appellation encompassing prime vineyard sites across the Cote de Beaune, Domaine Tollot Beaut Bourgogne Cote d’Or represents a highly refined, estate-grown expression of classic French Pinot Noir. Founded in 1880 in Chorey les Beaune, Domaine Tollot Beaut is currently managed by the fifth generation of the Tollot family. Celebrated as one of the very first estates in Burgundy to bottle its entire harvest at the domain in the 1920s, the winery's philosophy focuses on strict yield control, hand harvesting, gentle destemming, and open-top temperature-controlled fermentation. Aged for 12 to 14 months in French oak barrels (approximately 20% new), the estate produces a distinctly lush, fruit-forward, and polished regional Burgundy.
Wine Description
The wine presents a clear, bright ruby red colour with vibrant purple reflections along the rim. An expressive and perfume-driven bouquet opens with generous aromas of fresh red cherry, wild raspberry, and crushed strawberry, interwoven with charming notes of red rose petal, subtle forest floor, damp earth, and a touch of light toasted oak spice. On the palate, it is medium bodied, supple, and beautifully balanced, delivering rich, juicy red fruit flavours and subtle spice supported by a lively spine of fresh natural acidity. Framed by Tollot Beaut's signature silky, fine-grained tannins and a smooth texture, it concludes with a clean, persistent finish marked by lingering notes of sweet red berries and earth. Composed of 100% Pinot Noir, it combines the elevated weight and concentration of Cote d'Or fruit with accessible elegance, purity, and immediate charm.
