Domaine Tollot Beaut Chorey Les Beaune is a classic expression of Pinot Noir from France, specifically grown in the Chorey-les-Beaune appellation within the Côte de Beaune subregion of Burgundy. The Tollot family represents a long lineage of winegrowers dating back to the late 1880s, and the domaine was among the first in the Côte d'Or to start bottling its own wines in 1921. Currently managed by fifth-generation cousins Nathalie, Jean-Paul, and Olivier Tollot, the estate is renowned for its traditional methods, including tilling the soil by hand and avoiding all fertilizers to best express the particularities of each individual plot.
Wine Description
This vintage presents a vivid sensory profile, characterized by a bright ruby colour and a bouquet of small red cherries, blueberry fruit, and hints of crushed strawberry. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and supple, displaying a juicy, smooth flow of dense, ripe fruit including raspberries and black cherries. It is well structured with lithe tannins and a refreshing acidity that carries notes of orange peel and tangerine toward a gentle, persistent finish.
