Wine Description

The Gruner Veltliner Smaragd Ried Achleiten is a striking wine that presents a brilliant pale gold colour with green tints. On the nose, it is expressive, offering aromas of ripe stone fruits, such as apricot and peach, complemented by herbal notes and a subtle hint of spice. The palate is full-bodied, with a creamy texture and a vibrant acidity that cuts through the richness, providing balance and structure. Flavours of citrus, lime zest, and a touch of minerality linger on the finish, contributing to a long, refreshing conclusion.

Food Pairing

This Gruner Veltliner pairs beautifully with grilled white fish, roast chicken, or fresh spring vegetables. The wine’s lively acidity and depth make it a perfect complement to dishes featuring herbs, garlic, or lightly spiced sauces.
