This infused reposado tequila originates from Mexico, produced in the Jalisco region. Don Adriano was established to combine traditional Mexican agave crafting with rich, indulgent flavor infusions. The expression starts with aged reposado tequila made from 100% Blue Weber agave cooked in brick ovens, fermented, distilled, and aged in oak barrels before being infused with natural dark chocolate essence.
Spirit Description
This infused reposado presents a deep mahogany brown colour with warm copper highlights. The nose is rich and fragrant, opening with bold aromas of dark cocoa, roasted espresso beans, and sweet milk chocolate, layered over subtle notes of warm oak, vanilla, and sweet cooked agave. On the palate, it is medium to full bodied with a velvety, dessert-like mouthfeel, offering indulgent flavours of rich dark chocolate, toasted cocoa nibs, and caramel balanced by light oak spice and a hint of peppery agave. The finish is smooth, sweet, and lingering, leaving a comforting warmth of cocoa and light spice. Bottled at an ABV of 40%, it delivers an approachable, rich, and dessert-forward profile.
