This exceptional single variety wine originates from the United States, specifically from the rolling hills of the Carneros subregion spanning Napa and Sonoma counties. Established in 2001, Donum Estate has focused its winemaking philosophy on an unwavering respect for the land and meticulous, low yield organic farming. Under the guidance of winemaker Dan Fishman, the estate strives to capture the purest, site driven expression of its estate vineyards, blending ultimate craftsmanship with a sense of place that makes their flagship wines truly memorable.

Wine Description

Carneros Pinot Noir displays a striking medium to deep ruby color in the glass. On the nose, it opens with a signature Carneros profile of sassafras, complemented by complex aromas of raspberry, black cherry, five spice, and a delicate touch of purple flowers. The palate is rich, weighty, and lush, layering vibrant red and dark fruits with nuanced hints of toasted oak, plum, licorice, and black sesame paste. Exhibiting a powerful yet elegant body, the wine is framed by hearty, well structured tannins and bright natural acidity that provide remarkable freshness, balance, and complexity.
