Produced in the United States, this wine hails from the Sonoma County region of California. Dry Creek Vineyard was founded in 1972 by David S. Stare, who became the first person to plant Sauvignon Blanc in the Dry Creek Valley against the advice of local experts. Today, his daughter Kim Stare Wallace and her husband Don continue this legacy, maintaining a winemaking philosophy that emphasizes sustainable farming and minimal intervention to allow the healthy soil and vines to express themselves naturally.
Wine Description
Fumé Blanc displays a luminous yellow colour and a crystal clear appearance. The aromatic profile is intense and bright, leaping from the glass with citrus notes of lemon, lime, and pink grapefruit alongside tropical nuances of mango, tangerine, and honeysuckle. On the palate, the wine is medium bodied and zippy, offering a complex blend of passion fruit, peach, and cucumber supported by a soft underlying minerality.
