Wine Description
The 2020 'Les Evocelles' is crafted exclusively from Pinot Noir grapes sourced from vines averaging 65 years of age, situated on a hillside with clay-limestone soils. This wine presents a medium to full-bodied profile, showcasing a vibrant ruby hue. On the nose, it offers an intricate bouquet of wild berries, orange rind, exotic spices, wilted rose petals, and subtle smoky notes. The palate is layered and concentrated, with a velvety attack that transitions into a deep core of pure, vibrant fruit. Refined tannins and lively acidity frame the wine, leading to a balanced and mildly austere finish. Vinified with 50% whole clusters, this wine embodies freshness, complexity, and a mineral-driven character.
