Product description
Domaine Faiveley, established in 1825, is a family-owned winery located in the heart of Burgundy, France. Now in its seventh generation under the leadership of Erwan and Eve Faiveley, the domaine has grown to become one of the largest vineyard owners in Burgundy, with holdings spanning from the Côte de Nuits to the Côte Chalonnaise. Their commitment to sustainable viticulture and respect for terroir is evident in their wines, which are celebrated for their elegance and depth.
Wine Description
Faiveley Bourgogne Pinot Noir displays a beautiful ruby color. On the nose, it offers pleasant, fresh red-fruit aromas, notably cherry and raspberry, complemented by subtle earthy notes. The palate mirrors these red-fruit flavors, presenting a rich and ripe substance with fine, round tannins.
Food Pairing
This Pinot Noir pairs wonderfully with a variety of dishes, including:
Roasted poultry, such as duck or chicken, which highlights the wine's red-fruit character.
Grilled salmon or tuna, where the wine's acidity complements the richness of the fish.
Mushroom risotto, enhancing the earthy nuances in both the dish and the wine.
