Wine Description

This wine displays a very deep garnet red colour and an intense, persistent bouquet. The nose is complex, featuring prominent notes of cherry, blackcurrant, and prunes, complemented by spicy layers of cinnamon, cloves, cocoa, and liquorice, with a subtle mineral undertone. On the palate, it is full bodied and well structured, balancing alcohol with a lifted freshness and velvety, supple tannins. The finish is remarkably long and persistent, revealing additional hints of vanilla and chocolate. The varietal composition includes 33% Montepulciano, 30% Primitivo, 25% Sangiovese, 7% Negroamaro, and 5% Malvasia Nera. It is ready to drink now but possesses an aging potential of 10 to 15 years.
