Vigneti Zabu is part of the Farnese Vini group, also known as Fantini, a winery that became a leading exporter in southern Italy through a policy of high quality research and international expansion. The winemaking philosophy at Vigneti Zabu focuses on minimal intervention to preserve the spicy and fruity notes provided by the unique microclimate near Lake Arancio in Sambuca di Sicilia.

Wine Description

This wine displays a clear ruby red colour with distinct purple and crimson highlights. The sensory profile is defined by an intense bouquet of red fruit, black cherry, and plum, accented by fresh balsamic hints and spicy notes of black pepper and licorice. On the palate, it is full bodied and lively, featuring noticeable but well integrated tannins that provide a firm yet harmonious structure. The finish is fresh, persistent, and clean. Crafted from 100% Syrah grapes grown on limestone and clay soils, this wine typically has an ABV of 13.5%.
