98 Points -  James Suckling     This is a really exciting red that shows wonderful opulence of blue fruit and minerals with some walnuts. It’s full-bodied with intense tannins and fruit, yet it tightens down at the finish. Remains cool and poised. Try after 2022.

97 Points - Robert Parker's Wine Advocate     The 2016 Cabernet Sauvignon Oakville comes from Oakville Ranch, perched just below Ovid on Pritchard hill and above Dalla Valle. Composed of 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, it has a very deep purple-black color and comes charging out of the glass with vivacious blackberries, blueberry compote and cassis scents with hints of violets, oolong tea, cigar box and fragrant earth. Medium-bodied, the power of this wine comes purely from intensity, with rock-solid, wonderfully ripe tannins and fantastic freshness to support and lift the very long, perfumed finish. 327 cases produced.

95 Points - Wine Spectator     Dark and winey, with intense black currant, fig and blackberry puree flavors streaming through, supported by licorice snap and bramble notes and backed by energetic, tarry grip on the back end. This is dense, but shows lots of kick. Best from 2020 through 2035. 326 cases made.
