More Information
Product description
From New Zealand’s Central Otago, specifically the Bannockburn subregion, Felton Road has become a benchmark producer renowned for its organic and biodynamic viticulture. Founded in 1991, the winery has built its reputation on meticulous vineyard practices, minimal intervention winemaking, and an unwavering focus on terroir expression.
Wine Description
This Chardonnay presents a bright lemon colour in the glass. Aromas open with citrus, grapefruit, and apple layered with subtle leesy notes, toasty oak, and a whisper of brioche. On the palate, it delivers flavours of mandarin, yellow cherries, and pear, supported by butterscotch and mineral undertones. The medium-plus body is finely textured with a lightly creamy mouthfeel, balanced by fresh acidity. The finish is long, elegant, and laced with saline minerality.

Food Pairing
This Chardonnay’s richness and mineral freshness make it an excellent companion to roasted chicken with lemon and herbs, creamy pasta with wild mushrooms, or a simple seared scallop dish. This pairing highlights the wine’s depth and character.
