G4 Tequila Reposado

G4 Tequila Reposado is an aged artisanal spirit originating from the Highland region of Los Altos in Jalisco, Mexico. The brand is produced at the renowned El Pandillo distillery (NOM 1579) under the ownership of the Camarena family, who represent a century-long, fourth-generation legacy of traditional tequila fabrication. Master Distiller Felipe Camarena is celebrated for combining deeply traditional methods with custom-engineered, eco-friendly distillery innovations.

Spirit Description

G4 Reposado is made from 100% estate-grown blue Weber agave cooked in traditional stone ovens for at least 22 hours. Instead of using a traditional volcanic stone wheel, the agave is crushed by a custom-built mechanical shredder nicknamed 'Felipestein'. The defining element of G4 is its water source: it is proofed using a unique 50/50 blend of collected rainwater and natural spring water, capturing a pure Highland terroir.

• Colour: Beautiful, bright golden hue, indicating gentle aging in oak barrels.

• Aroma: Complex and beautifully balanced. The nose reveals aromas of cooked agave, vanilla, citrus, and light oak, alongside delicate herbal notes and a touch of baking spice.

• Palate: Rich, velvety, and smooth on the entry. It delivers a harmonious balance of sweet cooked agave and peppery warmth, complemented by toasted nuts, light butterscotch, grapefruit, and a whisper of cinnamon.

• Body: Medium-bodied with a soft, rounded mouthfeel that provides an approachable viscosity without masking the underlying spirit architecture.

• Finish: Light yet lingering and smooth, closing with a pleasant warmth of gentle oak, trailing agave sweetness, and lingering spice.

• ABV: Bottled at 40% (80 Proof).
