Product description
Galil Mountain Cabernet Sauvignon hails from the Upper Galilee region of Israel. Established in 2000 as a joint venture between the renowned Golan Heights Winery and Kibbutz Yiron, the winery is committed to revitalizing a winemaking history that dates back over 2,000 years. Their winemaking philosophy focuses on a 'blend of contrasts,' pairing cutting-edge technology with a deep respect for the natural environment through pioneering sustainability initiatives, such as being the first Israeli winery to receive LODI RULES certification.
Wine Description
This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon radiates a deep garnet hue with opaque purple reflections. The aromatic profile is dominated by intense blackcurrant, ripe plum, and raspberry, interwoven with delicate whispers of cedar, tobacco leaf, and Mediterranean herbs. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied and elegantly structured, featuring juicy black cherry and blackberry flavours supported by fine-grained tannins and a refreshing mineral-tinged snap. Stylistically, it offers a harmonious balance of fruit intensity and vibrant acidity, culminating in a long, firm, and dry finish.
