Goats Do Roam Red Blend 2022

Respected South African winery Fairview owner/vintner Charles Back has built a single red blend named Goats do Roam into a full-fledged wine company offering a range of top-quality, blended wines widely available throughout the wine-drinking world. Fruit for the wines is sourced from vineyards in the Paarl, Malmesbury and Stellenbosch areas, where Back owns farms or buys fruit from selected wine growers. Regardless of their origins, grapes are selected based on inherent fruit quality and flavour characteristics required for each respective blend in the range.

Goats Do Roam is a red blend which shows red berries, plums and mixed baking spice on the nose, while the youthful palate is rich with generous berry fruit and spice, balanced with integrated oak nuances. The palate is smooth with firm tannin and a long fresh finish.
