Glendullan's spirit is primarily destined for major blended Scotch whiskies, making single cask releases at natural strength quite rare. Independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail selected and matured this single cask under their revived Spirit of Scotland label, celebrating single-cask integrity without chill filtration or added coloring.
Spirit Description
In the glass, this single malt displays a pale golden hue, reflecting its pure, ex-bourbon maturation. The nose presents rich honeyed aromas accompanied by notes of ripe peach and fresh mint. On the palate, it delivers a creamy, luxurious mouthfeel filled with vibrant tropical fruit flavors, including fresh banana and juicy pineapple. Bottled at a natural cask strength of 58.1% ABV, the finish is pleasantly long, warm, and spicy, concluding with a zesty, refreshing burst of lime peel.
