Product description
This organic white wine hails from Italy, specifically from the Veneto region within the Verona IGT. Established in 1973 by Roberto Bricolo near the village of Custoza, Cantina Gorgo is a family-run estate now led by his daughter, Roberta Bricolo. The winery is dedicated to organic viticulture and sustainable practices, managing 53 hectares of certified organic vineyards situated on the calcium-rich morainic hills east of Lake Garda.
Wine Description
The Gorgo Chardonnay Verona Organic presents an elegant, bright golden yellow colour in the glass. On the nose, it offers a refined and aromatic bouquet of fresh fruits, including golden apple, pear, and tropical notes of pineapple and mango, complemented by delicate white flowers. The palate is soft and fresh with a lively acidity and a medium-bodied, harmonious structure. It features a round, expressive texture with flavours of citrus and green apple, leading to a clean, persistent finish marked by a subtle salty minerality.
