This wine originates from Italy, within Tuscany's celebrated Bolgheri region. Tenuta Guado al Tasso is owned by the historic Marchesi Antinori family, who have cultivated vineyards in this coastal natural amphitheatre since the late 19th century. The winery's philosophy focuses on expressing the unique microclimate of Bolgheri, combining Mediterranean elegance with remarkable structure and longevity.
Wine Description
This deep ruby red wine displays a complex aromatic profile featuring notes of blackberry, plum, and cassis, complemented by fresh balsamic hints of eucalyptus, graphite, and cocoa powder. On the palate, it is rich and full bodied, offering a velvety, polished tannin structure balanced by a vibrant acidity that gives the wine exceptional energy. The finish is persistent, clean, and elegant. The varietal composition is a blend of 44% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Cabernet Franc, and 26% Merlot. It has an alcohol content of 14.5% ABV and is not certified organic.

The 2023 growing season in Bolgheri was marked by a rainy spring that required careful vineyard management, followed by a warm and breezy summer.
