Harlan Estate 2022

Harlan Estate is located in the western hills of Oakville, within California's Napa Valley. Founded in 1984 by H. William Harlan, the estate was established with the ambitious goal of creating a California 'First Growth' capable of rivaling the finest estates of Bordeaux. The winemaking philosophy focuses on a deep, faithful expression of the land, utilizing hillside vineyards and uncompromising farming practices to produce wines of great longevity and character.

The Harlan Estate is an incredibly perfumed and earthy wine, characterized by an electric fruit profile that pulses with aromatic energy. On the nose, it reveals pure layers of Bing cherry, plum, and cassis, intertwined with delicate notes of violets, lavender, and unsmoked tobacco. The palate is exuberant and generous, showing dark red and purplish fruit, blood orange, and baking spices. Its structure is defined by seamless, elliptical tannins that are sleek at the edges yet supple and expansive on the mid-palate.
