Hendricks Oasium Gin

Hendrick's Oasium is a premium, contemporary-style gin produced at the Hendrick's Gin Palace in Girvan, Scotland. Released in early 2025 as the 8th global expression from the brand's highly acclaimed Cabinet of Curiosities series, this limited-edition release was created by Master Distiller Lesley Gracie. The concept was inspired by a trek into a desert oasis (replete with a game of camel polo), motivating Gracie to translate the unexpected, refreshing lushness of desert-dwelling flora, cooling herbs, and sun-ripened fruits into a gin format.

Spirit Description

Oasium uses the traditional Hendrick's base—with its foundational distillation on Bennett and Carter-Head stills and core cucumber and rose infusion—and layers it with a secret, desert-inspired botanical matrix.

• Colour: Clear and transparent.

• Aroma: Highly aromatic, lush, and fruit-forward. It bursts open with tropical fruits like papaya, mango, and sweet peach, backed by orange marmalade, dusty elderflower, and an underlying piney juniper austerity.

• Palate: Remarkably bold, juicy, and complex. Upfront flavors of guava nectar, pineapple, and lemon curd dominate the entry, followed by a mid-palate of prickly pear, dried dates, and coriander seed that provides a soft, white pepper-like note.

• Body: Medium-bodied, texturized, and luscious, carrying an intensity that pushes the boundaries of standard gin profiles into a jammy, nectar-like category.

• Finish: Moderately long and dry, tapering off with a distinctly green, savory character of tarragon and sagebrush paired with a bright burst of ruby red grapefruit.

• ABV: Bottled at 43.4%
