Product description

This structured and 'crystalline' sparkling wine originates from France, within the prestigious Champagne A.O.C. appellation. Champagne Henriot, an independent, family-owned Maison founded in Reims in 1808, represents over two centuries of refined craftsmanship and deep devotion to Chardonnay. The Brut Rosé is crafted through a precise, high-artistry approach that incorporates a small percentage of still Pinot Noir red wine (vin rouge) into a classic assemblage. Sourced from over 25 premier and grand cru villages across the Côte des Blancs and Montagne de Reims including Le Mesnil-sur-Oger, Avize, Chouilly, and Mailly-Champagne the vines are rooted in deep, chalk-rich limestone soils (craie). The cool, marginal northern climate creates an ideal environment for building delicate red fruit aromatics, razor-sharp natural acidity, and intense mineral tension.

Wine Description

The Champagne Henriot Brut Rosé presents a luminous, pale salmon-pink appearance in the glass with delicate coral shimmers and an extraordinarily fine, persistent, and energetic stream of tiny bubbles (mousse). Its sensory profile is exceptionally fresh, high-toned, and complex, delivering an elegant and deeply sophisticated expression of Rosé Champagne. The bouquet opens with a captivating display of wild pink raspberries, red currants, and wild strawberries, seamlessly layered with delicate underlays of pink grapefruit zest, orange blossom, freshly baked brioche, toasted almonds, and a distinct line of crushed chalk minerality. On the palate, the wine is light-to-medium-bodied, sleek, and precisely focused, showcasing a vibrant core of crunchy red stone fruits, citrus peel, and autolytic warmth. It is characterized by its outstanding inner energy and an incisive, mouthwatering backbone of natural acidity that drives a weightless, deep development. The mouthfeel is silky, fine-textured, and supple, carrying into an extraordinarily long, dry, and mineral-driven finish accented by lingering notes of red berry skin, white pepper, and chalk.
