Product description

Established in 1868, Henschke is a family-owned winery renowned for its commitment to quality and innovation. Currently led by fifth-generation winemaker Stephen Henschke and viticulturist Prue Henschke, the estate emphasizes sustainable practices and the expression of terroir. The 'Marble Angel' vineyard, situated in Light Pass, is named in honour of Julius Henschke, Stephen’s great-uncle and a celebrated sculptor known for his works crafted from Angaston marble quarried adjacent to the vineyard.

Wine Description:

This single-vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon presents a deep crimson hue with garnet reflections. The bouquet is aromatic, featuring notes of cassis, violets, wild forest berries, and crushed flowering herbs, complemented by hints of graphite, black olive, and cedar. On the palate, it is rich and plush, offering flavours of mulberry, blueberry, and cassis, supported by fine-grained tannins and a mineral backbone.
