Holzer Original Cacao (formerly Fernet Hunter Cacao) is a robust aromatic bitter produced in the Brunnwald Forest of Upper Austria. This expression is a unique collaboration between founder Raphael Holzer and Bar Leone (Hong Kong), merging Austrian distilling traditions with specialty ingredients from Southeast Asia. The spirit features a distinctive "farm-to-bottle" narrative, utilizing upcycled cacao husks that are fermented in Vietnam, roasted in Hong Kong, and finally infused in Austria.

This "Robust Bitter" takes the complex herbal foundation of the original Holzer Fernet and layers it with deep, dark chocolate notes.
Production: The spirit uses a low-temperature infusion method to extract the delicate essences of forest botanicals without the harshness of traditional boiling.
Core Ingredients: The signature blend of Arnica, Orris Root, and Lavender is enhanced by roasted Vietnamese cacao husks from "Conspiracy Chocolate".
Nose: A beautiful marriage of dry, earthy bitterness and rich, roasted cacao. It features a revitalizing herbal freshness followed by deep, chocolatey undertones.
Palate: Bold yet balanced and silky. The initial entry is herbal and refreshing, which quickly rounds out into a decadent dark chocolate profile with hints of "roasted nuttiness" and light spice.
