This structured and 'crystalline' white wine originates from France, within the historic Alsace A.O.C. appellation tucked between the Vosges Mountains and the Rhine River. Famille Hugel, established in Riquewihr in 1639, is one of Alsace’s most revered winemaking dynasties, boasting over twelve generations of unbroken family ownership. Operating under a low-intervention, terroir-focused winemaking philosophy, Hugel is renowned for crafting dry, pure, and aromatic white wines that champion varietal typicity. Sourced from estate and contracted grower vineyards surrounding Riquewihr, the vines are rooted in a complex soil mosaic of clay-limestone, marl, and sandstone. Famille Hugel 'Classic' Pinot Blanc presents a brilliant, pale straw-yellow color in the glass with bright greenish-silver reflections.
