This ultra-premium red wine is produced in the Napa Valley region of California, specifically from the Morgan's Way Vineyard (formerly known as Kayli Morgan) located in the St. Helena subregion. The estate was founded by Jayson Woodbridge, a visionary who sought to create wines that express the pinnacle of Napa Valley terroir. Woodbridge's winemaking philosophy involves an obsessive dedication to quality, including hand-sorting individual berries and aging the wine for extended periods in 100% new French oak.

The 2017 Hundred Acre Morgan's Way Cabernet Sauvignon is characterized by an opaque, deep purple colour. The aroma is intense and multi-layered, featuring notes of crème de cacao, crème de cassis, and black cherries, accented by nuances of red roses, black soil, and a touch of pencil shavings. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and incredibly rich, offering a plush, velvety texture with flavours of spicy black fruit preserves and dark chocolate. This 100% Cabernet Sauvignon displays remarkable freshness and an exceptionally long, mineral-inflected finish. The wine typically has an ABV of 15.5% and is produced using sustainable, high-precision farming methods, though it is not certified organic.
