Imada Shuzo Fukucho Junmai Yuzu Lemon Sake - 500 ml

Produced by Imada Shuzo, a historic brewery founded in 1868, this sake is crafted under the guidance of Miho Imada, one of the few female master brewers (Toji) in Japan. The brewery is located in a coastal town famous for being the birthplace of soft water brewing and is known for reviving the heritage rice variety Hattanso.

Description

This citrus infused sake possesses a hazy, pale yellow colour. The nose is remarkably vibrant and refreshing, dominated by the bright, zesty aromas of fresh yuzu and Japanese lemon. On the palate, it offers a crisp and tangy profile with a perfect balance between the tart acidity of the citrus and the mellow sweetness of the junmai sake base. The texture is light and clean, finishing with a lingering, juicy citrus savor that is both elegant and thirst quenching. ABV 8.5%.
