Product description

Introduction

Produced in the heart of the Northern Rhône Valley, this sophisticated white wine originates from the Saint-Joseph AOC, an appellation stretching along the steep, granite-rich right bank of the Rhône River. Maison J. Denuzière, established in 1876, has evolved from a historic merchant house into a high-end domaine under the expert guidance of oenologist Caroline Moro. The winery’s philosophy focuses on a "parcel-by-parcel" approach, selecting fruit from high-elevation granite terraces that impart a distinct mineral tension. This Saint-Joseph Blanc is a testament to the House's dedication to freshness and precision, highlighting the elegance of 100% Marsanne sourced from the northern end of the appellation.

Wine Description

J. Denuzière Saint-Joseph Blanc displays a brilliant straw-yellow color with shimmering golden highlights. The nose is highly aromatic and nuanced, offering an elegant bouquet of jasmine, honeysuckle, and sea buckthorn layered with notes of ripe plum, yellow pear, and honeydew melon. On the palate, the wine is full-bodied and well-structured, featuring a silky, mouth-filling texture balanced by a refreshing, "crunchy" acidity. It is characterized by its complex mineral play and savory undertones of anise, white flowers, and a persistent saline finish. This wine has an ABV of 13.5%.
