Jack Daniel's Bonded Tennessee Whiskey is a premium spirit from the United States, produced at the Jack Daniel Distillery in Lynchburg, Tennessee. Officially established in 1866 as the first registered distillery in the US, the brand is currently owned by the Brown-Forman Corporation. This expression is part of the permanent Bonded Series launched in May 2022, adhering to the strict Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897, which requires the whiskey to be the product of a single distillation season by a single distiller and aged for at least four years in a federally bonded warehouse.
Spirit Description
Crafted from the distillery's classic mash bill of 80% corn, 12% malted barley, and 8% rye, this whiskey undergoes the signature Lincoln County Process of charcoal mellowing through ten feet of sugar maple charcoal before maturation.
Colour: It displays a brilliant, deep amber hue, often darker than the standard Old No. 7 due to time in hand selected barrels.
Aroma: The nose is rich and intense, featuring aromas of caramel, vanilla, and toasted oak, alongside the trademark Jack Daniel's scent of banana and hints of maple sugar.
Palate: It offers a full bodied and bold palate with layers of sweet brown sugar, rich oak, and baking spices like cinnamon and nutmeg.
Body: The spirit possesses a robust and velvety texture, with its higher proof amplifying its overall depth and character.
