Jack Larkin Wines was founded by Sean Larkin, a Scotland native who transitioned from a career in sheet metal to becoming a sommelier and wine broker, eventually leading him to winemaking in Napa Valley. The wine is produced using fruit from the renowned Hyde Vineyard, which Larry Hyde founded in 1979. Located in the heart of Carneros, Hyde Vineyard benefits from the cooling effects of the Petaluma Gap, with morning fog and coastal breezes fostering a long growing season that is ideal for Pinot Noir.
Wine Description
This Pinot offers enticing aromas of ripe red cherries and wild strawberries, with delicate notes of rose petals and violet. Hints of redwood forest-floor earthiness add complexity to the bouquet.
