Jackson Triggs Proprietor's Selection Cabernet/Shiraz is a bold and full-bodied red blend from Canada’s Niagara Peninsula. The bouquet features aromas of blackberry, currants, leather, tobacco, and sweet vanilla. On the palate, lively notes of cherry, blackberry, cocoa, tobacco, and licorice give way to a smooth, lingering finish. The tannins are soft and the overall structure of the wine is approachable. This is an easy-drinking wine with good complexity and balance. Enjoy it on its own as a pre-dinner aperitif, or pair it with grilled red meats and full-bodied Italian dishes.
