Founded in 1859, Maison Louis Jadot is one of the most revered wine houses in the Côte d'Or, now stewarding over 528 acres of vineyards. The winery's philosophy is rooted in a non-interventionist approach, utilizing the 'lightest possible hand' in winemaking to ensure each bottle serves as the purest expression of its unique terroir.

Wine Description

Louis Jadot Bourgogne Chardonnay presents a lovely pale colour in its youth. The sensory profile features a bright and expressive nose of green apple, pear, and citrus fruits, layered with floral notes and a touch of stony minerality. On the palate, the wine is medium to full bodied, showcasing a rich yet fresh texture with flavours of apricot, pineapple, and a whisper of toasted oak spice. It is characterized by an excellent balance between ripe fruit and fresh acidity, leading to a lingering, mineral-rich finish.
