Product description

This exceptional white wine originates from France, crafted within the prestigious Hermitage appellation located in the Northern Rhône subregion of the Rhône Valley. The Chave family boasts a legendary winemaking heritage that dates back to 1481, representing generations of deep commitment to the region's premier terroirs. Managed with a philosophy that highly values tradition and meticulous craftsmanship, the estate focuses on low yields and minimal intervention to allow the true voice of the appellation to emerge.

  • Rich seafood selections, particularly lobster thermidor or seared scallops.

  • Aged, firm cheeses that echo the wine's complex, nutty nuances.

Vintage Quality

The 2021 growing season in the Northern Rhône was a demanding and cooler-than-usual year, marked by challenging spring frosts that severely reduced yields. Despite these climatic hurdles, the lower grape volumes allowed winemakers to secure excellent freshness, producing whites celebrated for their vivacious acidity, lower opulence, and highly expressive aromatic profile.
