Jean Marc Brocard Chablis 'Vaulorent' Premier Cru 2020

Product description

As a perfectionist, Jean-Marc Brocard naturally erected his purpose-built cellars in the centre of his vineyard to give the grapes his constant attention. Such dedication together with the best quality Chablis soil produce an exceptional wine with a typical mineral style. It is elegant and full of character.

Aromatically the wine is perfumed with fresh stone fruits such as apricots, peaches, yellow apples, as well as lemon zest and a touch of clotted cream. On the palate the wine is much more creamy and full-bodied, drinking beautifully upon release and predicted to age wonderfully.

94 Points - Wine Enthusiast

Bristling lemon and tart nectarine flavors are center stage in this fresh-fruited, youthful Chablis sourced from a premier cru site just outside the grand cru Les Preuses. Accented by hints of crushed almonds and a lingering tang of limestone, it's a rejuvenating white.

92 Points - Jasper Morris

Mid yellow with a trace of green. The nose is ripe but in control, a generous fruit. Typical opulence of the right bank, more fruit and less stony on the palate, though the necessary kimmeridgian bite is there at the finish.
