This vibrant white wine originates from the Loire Valley in France, specifically within the IGP Val de Loire. Jerome Choblet is a renowned fifth generation winegrower based at Domaine des Herbauges, located near the Lake of Grandlieu in the Loire-Atlantique department. The winery's philosophy combines age-old know-how with sustainable practices; the entire vineyard has been cultivated following Sustainable Agriculture guidelines since 1980 and holds both Terra Vitis and HVE Level 3 certifications.

Wine Description

The Jerome Choblet Chardonnay presents a lovely gold white colour. The sensory profile is intense and 'crunchy,' featuring a fresh bouquet reminiscent of white-pulp fruit, citrus, and orange blossom, with tropical highlights. On the palate, the wine is medium to full-bodied and supple, showcasing juicy flavours of pear and green apple balanced by a zesty liveliness. It is characterized by an unoaked style, having been aged on its lees for 8 to 14 months in underground vats without malolactic fermentation to preserve its crisp, aromatic purity.
