This prestigious white wine originates from the Mosel region of Germany, specifically from the world-famous Wehlener Sonnenuhr vineyard. The estate of Joh. Jos. Prüm, founded in 1911 by Johann Josef Prüm, has remained a family-owned benchmark for quality in the Middle Mosel for over a century. Today, the winery is managed by Katharina Prüm, who maintains the estate's philosophy of meticulous, traditional winemaking and low yields to ensure the purest expression of Riesling from their extraordinarily steep slate slopes.

The 2018 JJ Prum Wehlener Sonnenuhr Auslese is a straw golden colour with a seductive and complex sensory profile. The nose is heady and intense, featuring aromas of honeyed melon, apricot blossom, and white peach, accented by herbal notes and a distinctive hint of flinty petrol. On the palate, the wine is luscious and creamy yet surprisingly vibrant, offering a symphony of tropical fruits like mangosteen and fresh pineapple balanced by a piquant, salty minerality and electric acidity.
