Product description
Produced in the United States, this Chardonnay is sourced from premier vineyards across California, specifically within the marine-influenced regions of Monterey and Santa Barbara. Founded by Joel Gott, the winery is known for a winemaking philosophy that prioritizes expressive fruit and balanced structure through meticulous site selection and blending. By focusing on fruit from diverse cool-climate AVAs like Arroyo Seco and the Santa Maria Valley, the winery produces a consistent, food-friendly style that reflects the best of California's coastal terroir.
Wine Description
This unoaked Chardonnay presents a bright straw colour and a vibrant sensory profile. The nose is highly aromatic, featuring layers of pear, sweet-tart apple, and mango, complemented by delicate notes of citrus, honeysuckle, and jasmine. On the palate, the wine is medium-bodied with a round mouthfeel, opening with bright tropical fruit and citrus flavors followed by a distinct, crisp minerality. It is characterized by a fresh, well-balanced acidity and concludes with a long, clean finish.
