This precious and harmonious white wine originates from France, specifically within the Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru appellation in the Côte de Beaune. "Les Folatières" is the largest Premier Cru in Puligny, situated at a mid-slope position on stony, marly limestone soils that are considered among the finest in the "Côte des Blancs". Founded in 1880, Maison Joseph Drouhin has been a pioneer in sustainable viticulture, and this cuvée represents the family's "double identity" of Burgundian tradition and innovation, managed under strict biodynamic and organic principles since the 1990s.

Joseph Drouhin Puligny-Montrachet Premier Cru Folatières presents a golden and bright colour. The sensory profile is complex and distinctive, featuring a nose of honey, honeysuckle, and fresh almond, which as it matures, evolves toward notes of dried fruit and delicate spice. On the palate, the wine expresses a perfect balance between freshness and a velvety, rounded texture. It is characterized by a firm structural "backbone" and an exceptionally long, refined finish with elegant floral notes. This 100% Chardonnay typically reaches an ABV of 13.5%. While some Folatières fruit is sourced from partner growers, all are selected according to Drouhin's rigorous organic and biodynamic standards.
