Ron Jungla originates from the Dominican Republic. This premium spirit is the result of a unique project by Bodegas Suau, a historic distillery in Mallorca, Spain, known for its centuries-old tradition of artisanal brandy production. The philosophy behind this rum involves a dual-ageing process that bridges Caribbean distillation with Mediterranean refining techniques.

Rum Description

This rum presents a deep mahogany colour in the glass. The aroma is rich and complex, offering notes of dried fruits, toasted oak, and a hint of vanilla. On the palate, it is full bodied and smooth, featuring flavours of cocoa, spices, and a delicate nuttiness that leads into a long, warming finish. This spirit is crafted from high-quality sugar cane and aged initially in the Caribbean before being transported to Mallorca to finish its maturation in Suau's brandy barrels.

Ron Jungla Rum pairs exceptionally well with dark chocolate desserts or a selection of aged cheeses. It also complements a fine cigar or can be enjoyed alongside caramelised nuts.
