Product description
Ken Wright Chardonnay Willamette Valley 2024 originates from the United States, within Oregon's Willamette Valley region. Founded in 1994 by winemaking pioneer Ken Wright, the winery is globally recognized for its site-specific Pinot Noir and small-lot Chardonnay. Drawing fruit from selected estate sites across the valley's premier sub-AVAs, this regional bottling highlights the unique combination of volcanic and marine sedimentary soils, cooled by Pacific ocean breezes to produce a balanced, expressive cool-climate Chardonnay.
Wine Description
This white wine displays a bright, pale straw-yellow colour with greenish reflections. The nose opens with inviting aromas of fresh green apple, crisp d'Anjou pear, and white peach, layered with floral white blossoms, lemon curd, and a touch of subtle toasted oak and crushed stone minerality. On the palate, it exhibits a medium body with a supple, lightly creamy texture balanced by crisp, mouthwatering acidity. Stylistically, the wine focuses on fruit purity and freshness, offering a long, clean finish accented by citrus zest and subtle mineral undertones.
Varietal composition: 100% Chardonnay
