Product description
Ken Wright Pinot Noir Canary Hill 2024 originates from the United States, within Oregon's Willamette Valley region and the Eola-Amity Hills AVA subregion. Founded in 1994 by winemaking pioneer Ken Wright, the estate focuses on single-vineyard Pinot Noir expressions that showcase the distinct volcanic and sedimentary terroirs of the region. Canary Hill Vineyard, planted in 1983 on Jory volcanic clay soils, is one of the estate's founding sites and is celebrated for producing bright, red-fruit-driven wines with distinctive floral complexity.
Wine Description
This red wine displays a translucent, vibrant ruby colour. The nose is highly aromatic and lifted, presenting scents of red cherry, wild raspberry, and pomegranate intertwined with violet flowers, star anise, forest floor, and subtle sweet spice. On the palate, it features a medium body with a silky, delicate texture balanced by bright, juicy acidity and finely integrated, velvety tannins. Stylistically, the wine emphasizes freshness, site specificity, and elegance, concluding with a long, graceful finish that carries notes of red fruit and crushed stone minerality.
