Product description

Ken Wright Pinot Noir Eola Amity 2023 originates from the United States, within Oregon's Willamette Valley region and the Eola Amity Hills AVA subregion. Founded in 1994 by winemaking pioneer Ken Wright, the winery focuses on site specific expressions that showcase the distinct soil types and microclimates of Oregon. The Eola Amity Hills regional bottling draws fruit from estate sites planted primarily in shallow volcanic Jory and Nekia soils, influenced by the cooling marine breezes that blow through the Van Duzer Corridor to produce wines with natural acidity and distinct spice.

Wine Description

This red wine displays a translucent, bright ruby colour. The nose is vibrant and lifted, offering aromas of tart red cherry, cranberry, and wild strawberry, complemented by floral hints of violet, crushed gravel, dried herbs, and subtle sweet baking spices. On the palate, it features a medium body with a sleek, energetic texture underpinned by vibrant, mouthwatering acidity and fine, firm tannins. Stylistically, the wine highlights regional freshness, bright fruit purity, and savory complexity, leading into a long, crisp finish with lingering notes of red fruit and crushed stone minerality.
