Product description

Ken Wright Pinot Noir Shea 2024 originates from the United States, within Oregon's Willamette Valley region and the Yamhill Carlton AVA subregion. Founded in 1994 by winemaking pioneer Ken Wright, the winery focuses on single vineyard bottlings that highlight the unique soil profiles across northern Oregon. Shea Vineyard, planted in ancient marine sedimentary soils (Willakenzie series), is one of the premier vineyard sites in the Pacific Northwest and is celebrated for producing Pinot Noir with great structural depth, dark fruit profiles, and intense floral complexity.

Wine Description

This red wine displays a translucent, deep garnet ruby colour. The nose is open and complex, delivering aromas of dark plum, wild blackberry, and black cherry alongside floral violet accents, crushed rock minerality, black tea, and warming sweet spices. On the palate, it exhibits a medium to full body with a plush, velvety texture, balanced by vibrant acidity and fine grained, persistent tannins. Stylistically, the wine delivers exceptional power and structural harmony, concluding with a long, elegant finish filled with dark berry compote, savory earth, and cocoa.
