Kendall-Jackson was established in 1982 by Jess Jackson and his family, debuting with the release of the 'Vintner's Reserve' Chardonnay. The Jackson family's winemaking philosophy, which founder Jess Jackson called 'Flavor Domaine', involves planting individual grape varieties to suit their ideal terroir to promote the best attributes of each grape. Kendall-Jackson is renowned as a family-owned and run business that remains committed to quality, stewardship of the land, and sustainable practices.

Wine Description

The 'Vintner's Reserve' presents a pale straw yellow colour with hints of gold and a bright, clear finish. The bouquet is complex, opening with aromas of tropical fruit like pineapple, mango, and papaya, alongside notes of citrus and green apple. These fruit flavours are beautifully complemented by vanilla, honey, a hint of toasted oak, and butter, owing to its aging in French and American oak barrels. On the palate, this medium to full-bodied wine is fruit-forward, featuring vibrant flavours of ripe pear, pineapple, and mango, balanced by a creamy texture and moderate acidity.
