Kilchoman is an independently owned farm distillery founded by Anthony Wills on Rockside Farm, located on the remote west coast of Islay. Operating as a true farm-to-bottle pioneer, it remains one of the few traditional distilleries in Scotland to grow its own barley and maintain traditional floor maltings. This dedicated philosophy ensures full craft control and gives their spirit an authentic, deeply localized character.

• Colour: Deep coppery gold.

• Aroma: The nose is bold, sweet, and smoky, revealing complex layers of caramelised custard tart, freshly roasted coffee, and candied ginger. These sweet notes are underpinned by a rich, savoury wave of damp earth, coastal salinity, and a meaty barbecue edge.

• Palate: Full-bodied, rich, and remarkably oily on the palate. It delivers an intense interplay of honey-roasted figs, cloves, and sticky toffee pudding, balanced alongside robust charcoal smoke, salted caramel, and toasted walnuts.

• Finish: Long, ashy, and deeply warming, where the initial sweet and nutty elements slowly fade to allow bonfire embers to smoulder with a sophisticated, drying complexity.
