Kohinoor Reserve Indian Dark Rum originates from India, produced at the historic Rampur Distillery. Established in 1943, the distillery is operated by Radico Khaitan, one of India's oldest and most prestigious spirits companies. Drawing inspiration from India's ancient sugarcane distillation traditions and named after the world famous Kohinoor diamond, the brand's production philosophy revolves around small batch craftsmanship, triple cask maturation, and quiet luxury.

Spirits Description

In the glass, this dark rum exhibits a deep amber colour with rich ruby highlights. The nose is opulent and inviting, opening with sweet caramel, vanilla, toffee, and toasted oak, followed by subtle botanical whispers, nutmeg, and dried fruits like raisins and plum. On the palate, it is full-bodied, rich, and velvety with a silky, oily texture. Flavours of brown sugar, dark chocolate, sweet spiced fruit, and roasted nuts are beautifully balanced by gentle oak tannin and warm spice. Crafted from fresh winter sugarcane juice distilled in small batches and aged through a triple cask process—American oak, Cognac XO, and Vermouth casks—and bottled at 43% ABV, it delivers remarkable complexity, harmony, and a long, warming finish.
