Product description
Introduction
This single grain whisky originates from Japan, produced in the Ryukyu Islands amidst the subtropical climate of Okinawa, Japan's southernmost region. The whisky is crafted by the Masahiro Distillery, which was founded in 1883 by Shobun Higa, whose family history can be traced back to the ancient Ryukyu Kingdom era. Inheriting over 140 years of rich history and expertise from traditional Okinawan awamori (a rice spirit), the distillery applies its prominent distilling techniques to craft Kujira Whisky by maturing premium rice whisky in oak casks, a process that yields a unique and profound taste.
