This red wine originates from Argentina, specifically from the Mayor Drummond subregion of Lujan de Cuyo in Mendoza. Founded in 1897, Lagarde is a historic estate featuring Malbec vines that are over 100 years old. Owned by the Pescarmona family since 1969, the winery is managed by sisters Sofia and Lucila, who have focused on sustainable practices and making Lagarde a certified B Corporation.

Lagarde Organic Malbec displays a deep and bright violet red colour. The aromatic profile is fragrant and precise, offering vibrant notes of ripe red fruits like cherry, plum, and raspberry alongside floral hints of violet and fresh herbs. On the palate, the wine is juicy and agile with a smooth texture, soft tannins, and a balanced acidity that creates a fresh mouthfeel. It is characterized by its pure fruit expression and 'round' style, as it is produced without oak aging to respect the natural vineyard cycles. This 100% Malbec has an ABV of 14.2% and is officially certified organic. The optimal drinking window is generally within 3 years of the harvest to enjoy its maximum freshness.
