Product description
Lake Breeze Pinot Gris originates from Canada, within the British Columbia region and the highly acclaimed Naramata Bench sub-appellation of the Okanagan Valley. Founded in the mid-1990s and featuring estate vine plantings dating back to 1985, Lake Breeze Vineyards operates with a philosophy centered on expressing the pure maritime microclimate created by Okanagan Lake. Winemaker Garron Elmes focuses on preserving the classic cool-climate vitality of the benchland. By prioritizing gentle fruit handling and minimal intervention in the cellar, the winery yields a vibrant, approachable white wine that celebrates regional fruit clarity, bright natural acidity, and textural elegance.
Wine Description
This white wine displays a clear, pale straw appearance in the glass with bright yellow-green highlights. It possesses a light-to-medium-bodied structure that balances a round, supple mouthfeel with a clean, crisp overall texture. The sensory profile is fragrant and fruit-forward, opening with expressive aromas of ripe juicy peach, orchard nectarine, Asian pear, quince, and candied green apple, backed by delicate white floral blossoms and subtle lemon peel citrus notes. On the lively palate, it delivers crisp tree fruit flavors and melon notes interwoven with a characteristic hint of white pepper spice and subtle herbal undertones. The finish is remarkably clean, refreshed by vibrant, well-balanced natural acidity that leaves a lingering impression of crunchy green fruit and flinty minerality.
